At his summer 2020 Hodson internship with NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC), Austin Dumas (A21) frequently employed one of the quintessential skills students practice at St. John鈥檚: the ability to formulate questions.
As the United States surpasses a year of COVID-impacted life, St. John鈥檚 College鈥檚 frontline workers鈥攊ncluding members of buildings and grounds, public safety, and more鈥攈ave been working consistently throughout the last 12 months to keep campus running and provide the community with essential services.
The First-gen Forward designation was recently awarded to St. John鈥檚 College in Santa Fe. First-gen Forward recognizes institutions nationwide that show a commitment to improving college experiences and academic outcomes for first-generation students, and St. John鈥檚 is the first institution in New Mexico to be given the designation.
Thanks to an Ariel Internship, Chifunda Kakusa (SF20) spent summer 2020 working as a venture capital analyst at Zambia-based company Quantum Consultants and Actuaries.
